Looks pretty cool, imo. Too bad I still have the LG Dare with no functionality at all and still caught in the past like a incompetent Techie...

Greg Kumparak, from MobileCrunch (Techcrunch), is reporting out of Barcelona where Google's CEO Greg Schmidt's is presenting at the Mobile World Congress Keynote. Reportedly, Google's new handsets are shipping out at an astounding rate of 60,000 per day.

Greg does explain though that "shipping" in Germany could mean multiple things:
Whether 'shipped' here means 'sold to end users' or 'ordered by retailers' is unclear...it’s quite the feat either way.
The most fascinating part is paring those figures quarterly and yearly to Apple's Iphone sales, in the same regards. At the current rate (60,000/day), that is nearly 5.4 million sold a quarter and approximately 21.9 million a year. Compare that to Apple's total Iphone sales last quarter (8.7) and You have a great outlook of just how competitive this is getting between the two Megagiant corporations!

Anyone know where more of these New York snow Sculptures are, if any? I would LOVE to see more! :D

The recent Supreme Court decision in regards to campaign financing by corporations is already getting out of hand. Who would have thought? The defense, sadly, was "that the government has no business regulating political speech." The result? Allowing "political spending by corporations in candidate elections."

In turn, Murray Hill Incorporated - a liberal public relations firm - has recently announced it will run for Congress, and even has already released it's first ad campaign:

Co. Donegal, located in Northern Ireland (right), has a very interesting art project in the works that could land themselves on Mars (no pun intended).

The Donegal County has a new public art project, Lovely Weather Art and Climate Change Project, and they are only weeks away from a final vote on a location and feature in Donegal to be "twinned with a physical feature on Mars to the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny."

John Cunningham, assistant manager of the Regional Cutural Centre says, “The criteria are that it must be in the Milford/Letterkenny electoral area of Co Donegal and it can be a peninsula, an island, a beach, even a rock.”

Once the votes are in, they will then send the winning feature to NASA and "In the end, it will mean that a little part of Mars will be permanently named after a place in Donegal,” John Cunningham expains.

I have a feeling this may become a trend for counties, cities, towns, and villages around the World, and at least it's ackowledging climate change and promoting lovely weather.  It's just a happy story all around and had to share it!

A guy decides to showcase the emotional side of his wife...by posting her sobbing tales: Crying at the end of EVERY movie!

I'm not sure about you, but I think it's more than just the movie. Maybe the guy just doesn't seem to realize, as for her, that there MUST be some emotional issues with this poor soul. :/

See for yourself:

News Corp. Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch has recently assured that "there have been conversations" with Conan O'Brien about opportunities for a new late night spot on FOX. However, he assures that there hasn't been any "real" negotiations in the works.

They are currently "exploring their options", speaking with affiliates, and trying to determine if it is a profitable move.

I have nothing else to say other than please watch:

DblBogey, at Black and Gold forums, has came up with a great way to enjoy (and pass out) before during and maybe after the game. Check out just a few of the many points to drink to:

If you need another way to enjoy the game, at least some of it anyway . . .

1. Every time they mention hurricane Katrina, drink 1

2. If they show pictures of the City of New Orleans right after Katrina, drink 1

3. Every time they say how much the Saints mean to the City of New Orleans, drink 1

4. Every time the words “tragedy”, “flood”, or “devastation” are used, drink 1

5. Every time they talk about how good Reggie Bush was in college, drink 3

6. If they show Kim Kardashian in the stands, drink 5

7. Every time they show a picture of Reggie Bush with a bat or say “bringing the wood” drink for 5 seconds..

8.. Every time Reggie Bush gets negative yardage trying to run around in the backfield a bunch and outrun the defense, drink 1 and turn to the person next to you and say “I told you Vince Young should have won the Heisman”
